Default Water pump leaking?

2002/3.0 92kMiles is losing coolant slowly. I detected that it's coming from the water pump's direction. I took a picture of the leakage. Would you guys say that the coolant is just collecting on this coupling (what ever it is) from the leaking pump or could it be this part leaking?

Thanks again in advance!

It's that part leaking. It's the upper hose/tstat housing assembly. Replace as necessary. Water pump is to the right and up from that housing. If water pump is leaking you'd see coolant on your transmission case.

Thanks for the info poboyblues! Nothing on the transmission case so I'll first take apart the thermostat housing and check the seals there.

I've never had luck just replacing the seals. But you can try.
