Default Wheel/Rim suggestions

Black 2.5, just bought the Mina Gallery inserts.

Have been looking at different wheel choices, and just not sure what I want, how much black, or chrome. Since I just bought a set of tires a few months ago, I'm not looking to upgrade a size. I think I prefer a simpler 5 spoke design, and something affordable like:

A wheel that helps accentuate the black, sexy, sophisticated look, rather than too much glaring ghetto chrome.

What are some of the other black x typers using?

I would look at replica Volvo C30 wheels. I love these if you want to do something small-ish like 18's. http://www.ipdusa.com/Volvo-C70-1998...p-75-569-5637/

There are quite a few others. Anything for newer C30/S40/V50 is an exact fit and the others just require thin hub-centric rings ($10) to go from 65mm-to-63.5mm. All Volvo wheels are 5x108 bolt pattern and will have the correct offset for Jaguar.

Mine mine mine! LOL
I like those Volvo wheels as well, I've seen a few Volvos around here with them on there and they look very nice. Unfortunately I would never do 18" wheels where I live.
Buy mine! LOL

The only place I've ever visited that deserves that sentiment is New Orleans (including India, Southeast Asia, and the parts of South America I have seen).

That said, the Volvo wheels weigh 30 lbs each and if you have elusions to make the weak-performing X-Type slightly better, then 16" or 17" ultralights with good "trackable" tires might be for you

Boston roads suuuck. I bought my Jaguar and all four stock 17" wheels are bent and my tire shop hates trying to mount and balance them. Constant road construction, pot holes hidden by snow and slush, you name it - this place is rough on cars in general.
