Windshield washer fluid leaking badly

2003 X-Type is leaking windshield washer fluid badly. Is this a common, known problem with a fix. Any chance it would be convered under the Select Edition used Jag warranty?

Loosen theRH **** shield enough to be able to get your hand in.
If I remember from a while back maybe the seal has come off or the plug in the bottom of the bottlehas come loose.
