engine turns over ok but wont start what could it be? If immobilser how ncan i get past this

 

When you roll ignition to position 2, does the mil light (little engine icon) remain lit or does it extinguish?

 

Use your other key - same behaviour?

 

What makes you think it might be the immobilizer?

Has the car been running fine and then all of a sudden out of the blue it won't start? Or have you been having any issues with it recently?

What year and engine would be helpful.

Any recent work done to the car? Or any other details you could provide. Car cranking, but not starting could be a lot of things.The more details you can provide about the situation the easier it might be for someone to diagnose.
