Would you buy an 2003 2.5 with 122K miles on it?

Could be something relatively simple (inexpensive) like a clutch master cylinder issue.

Or it could be something expensive like the clutch and/or clutch slave or the synchronizer gears in the transmission.

Found something similar in this thread:

I might get banned for life from the forum for suggesting this, but a good way to diagnose bad syncro's is to put about 3 or 4 spoonfuls of very fine hardwood sawdust into the transmission.

The problem might clear up for a couple of thousand miles, too! (if the syncro's are indeed the problem)

(Any Used Car Dealer worth his snuff will tell you that sawdust in a tranny will work at least long enough to get the sold car driven off the lot!)

// Works for rod and bearing knock, too.
/// Crushed marbles in the oil will raise the compression of a bad cylinder.
//// If the problem ain't the tranny - well - it is now!

Nah, the contrast looks to be a bit off on the screens.

Could indicate a major TB problem.

Why are you looking at that ugly dog? Autotrader shows 5 X-Types near you all for far less $ than that one, including an '03 with less than 72K miles.

Look a little harder...

Oh, but not with 24" white wheels and FIVE video screens. I wonder if he'll throw in the porno he has on the screen...

And my apologies for not being more obvious with my sarcasm! This car is appalling to the point of absurd.
