Welcome to the forum hanky,

I've moved your question from General Tech Help to X-Type forum. This is the place to post technical questions about your model.

The Inertia switch may have popped out and needs resetting...It kills the car's electrical run system during an accident.

The switch is located on the passenger side front right foot wheel. Open the door and get down and look to your Right. it will be to the right of where the passenger would put his/her feet. There's a plastic piece of trim that will look like it has a little plastic piece . Remove that piece of plastic and push the switch in.

If it's the alarm (unlikely) it puts out a flash code on the PATS light.

Could be a dead starter or lack of power to it, but usually it's a battery said to be OK that isn't. Check actual voltage with a heavy electrical load.

When the auto store here in the US tests the Battery, they put it under load as part of the test.
