Talking X-type custom rear lights

Hi, firstly, I have'nt been on here for a while so hello to everyone again. I've been wanting to get some custom rear lights for my car but it seems the only ones available are around 3500 from Arden. I realised I had two options. Option 1: Pay the man and get lights that many people may have. Or, option 2: create my own. I went with option 2. It tokk me around 8 hours mostly because I spent 4, yes 4 hours masking off my lights as I wanted to get a good look but keep them legal. Just thought I'd post a pic and see what people think. I do have pictures of them being masked up but they are on an old phone. Will try to get them put on. Cheers.

looks like you did a good job, at least from what I can tell in that pic. Kudos for the DIY spirit.

is it just the angle of the photo or do you have no exhaust tips?

Chris, if you notice, his sig says "To come: Arden exhausts" ;-)

Nice job! Show us some pictures of your Team Dynamics rims!

Looks nice, what kind of paint did you use and I would love to see your rims too.

Cheers lads, took ages to do. I used SAVAGE tail light tint spray, good stuff, has a flat nozzle to get a good spray like a real spray gun. put around 25 layers on so it looks black but you still get a hint of the red behind, then a few layers of laquer. I'll try to enlarge the pic for you and also put a pic of the rims on. Oh, Chris, my exhaust is hidden behind the reverse sensors.
