Default X type headlight problems

I was replacing my headlights in my 2004 x type. The contact broke off in the wiring harnest i tried to remove it with needle nose pliers and it would not budge please help I'm on a budget I'm not sure what to do or where to go. Is it in my best interest to go to the jaguars dealership and spend the money or is this something I can fix on my own. I'm open to suggestions just need help.

Thank Easton.

Easton: If you're asking about the electrical connector supplying power to an incandescent headlight bulb (not HID's), the replacement connector in this picture will be easy on your wallet.

Be careful not to push or pull too hard on the headlight bulbs. It's easy to break plastic tabs inside the headlight that hold and aim the bulb.

If your bulbs have a good ground, then don't worry about the soldered wire in the picture. This post tells that part of the story: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...4/#post1053650

This may help.
you can use a regular soldering iron and lighter for the heat shrink.
