The first ones are about $35 each, the second are like $70 each. Plus installation.

 

You should think about just waiting and saving up for something made for the X. I know the Mina Gallery mufflers are a bit much at 500, but you can install them yourself in the driveway. The sound it probably close to what you want, they even come with the style tips you were talking about getting before. And they clamp on, very easy to put on and take off. I have had mine for about a year now, I've even autocrossed with them, and they haven't come lose at all. They are worth the money, and frankly, the car is worth buying them for if you can wait.

 

Buying random mufflers will end you up with a completely unpredictable sound. The only thing you can guess about a muffler based on external appearance is that generally "bigger may be quieter", but the internal design varies massively. Surely, you could buy several pairs of those for the price of the Mina Gallery mufflers, but if they all leave you feeling cold, you'll have spent much more money via that route...
