X-Type oil pan removal

The hidden single bolt that looks impossible to unscrew can be extracted without drilling holes or disassembly. I was able to extract it by bending my 10 MM open end a bit. Was then able to get the tip of the wrench onto the head of the bolt at almost a right angle but was enough of a “bite”. I used vice-grip pliers on the leverage end to turn the wrench and whoopee—it broke loose. Once it was loose, was very easy to spin it out the remaining way.
I plan to replace the bolt with a Phillips head, should make it quite easy to replace and extract again. Hope this helps----Chow
