Default X-Type wheel dilemma

Hello all... I am a new first time Jag owner of a 2004 X-Type 2.5 5 speed. I'm having a hard time finding some steel rims for that car for the winter. I'm aware that the wheels are 16"x6.5" with a bolt pattern of 5x108.... What I would like to know is if it comes down to it... would I be able to take some steel rims that are the same size and bolt pattern from the likes of a Ford Taurus/Mercury Sable, Ford Crown Vic, or some Volvos and use them on the X-Type with some winter rubber?

Nate, looking online at the specs for the wheels for each car, yes, you should be able to use a set of rims from off of a Taurus. They will have roughly the same offset (varies from rim to rim, so, make sure for the specific set of rims you are looking at) and the bolt pattern is the same. If you stick with a 6.5" wide rim like what is factory on the X-Type, you should be good.

Good deal. Thanks... That saves me from having to buy some budgie alloys to drive around in for the winter.
