SSM73139 - InControl Touch Pro no navigation Guidance

 

I figured out the problem.

If your car's voice is set to the British accent, but the language on American English, the voice guidance will not function. You have to go change the car language to British english, and this immediately restores function.

 

I just set Language to "English-UK" and the voice guidance stopped. How do I change the car voice to match? Is that done through the Navigation menu?

 

Yes I think so. Let me know if you can't find it and I can confirm.

 

No joy going in through the Navigation --> Settings menu. Couldn't find anything addressing it in the owners manual either.

It’s in the general settings, keyboard layout setting, voice setting is in there.
