Question What is this thing on each muffler?

Hi, I just purchased a 2017 XE35t and have been going over it in detail. I noticed this appendage on each rear muffler. I can't figure out it's purpose and have not found any documentation. It's not a hangar. It looks like a piece of rubber with a bolt through it. Does anyone know?
