I think you're correct, it won't be below those figures. I do think that the sweet spot lay in the $30, very low $30s ballpark. It's fun to surmise!

A nicely equipped V6 model for about $45K sounds good to me. I'm hoping for a coupe, though.

I'd like to see a reliable car that is not too complicated.

1. manual transmission
2. spare tyre, not run flat tyre with no spare
3. quiet
4. good handling
5. practical, like fold down rear seats

It's more likely that the price in the U.S. will be similar to the 328i or maybe even a bit higher.

Oh I know this but I think someone compared it to the likes of the CLA and A3.
