I think you're correct, it won't be below those figures. I do think that the sweet spot lay in the $30, very low $30s ballpark. It's fun to surmise!

A nicely equipped V6 model for about $45K sounds good to me. I'm hoping for a coupe, though.

Is the XT really that long??? It feels much smaller to me for some reason...I am hoping for a similar size in the XE. Give me that and the AWD V6S and I'm good.....and oh yeah...a coupe would be nice....kid should be out of the car seat by then....either that or I'm pressing for a Lotus, but man that would be a hard ride for my aging old ***.

I'd like to see a reliable car that is not too complicated.

1. manual transmission
2. spare tyre, not run flat tyre with no spare
3. quiet
4. good handling
5. practical, like fold down rear seats
