2017 Jaguar XF 35t Premium AWD
Hey guys, looking for a 3rd car to share with my son. He has his heart set on an A7, but its hard to find decent ones that are not too expensive, and the whole oil consumption thing scares me a bit. Saw a good deal on the Jag mentioned in the title. It has 56,000 miles on it and so far the only issues were a water pump change. I've always had German cars and have stayed away from Jags based on reliability issues. Can anyone chime in on the good/bad..associtted with the 2017 XF?
Thanks!
Thanks!
The X260 is no more and no less that reliable than the German cars you're used to. The most important things to look for are:
- Any evidence of coolant leaks from the water outlet under the supercharger snout, and the rear heater pipe between the back of the cylinder heads.
- Service history, if available.
Mine is a 2016, had it 4 years and replaced the battery once. That was the only thing besides regular maintenance. Beautiful comfortable car, great gas mileage in eco mode. Has a sport mode for more oomph. Not the best on snow and annoying auto start/stop feature. But I would still get one today.
