Electrics issue after fuse change
Hi,
Re. Jag XF 3.0 V6 diesel, 2014 model.
I bought this car yesterday, second hand (used). The very front cigar lighter wasnt working, so like a good boy scout I grabbed the manual and checked where the correct fuse was located. Following the manual, the first cigar lighter I spotted was a red 50a relay, which I pulled out, saw no issues with, then returned. The second was a 20a yellow fuse (f27 I think) which was bust. I replaced this with one of the spares located in the fuse box. Feeling smug I went to the hot seat to start her up, but it went haywire, all sorts of warnings came up including parking brake and others which I didn't catch.
She won't start, only cycles from ignition on and ignition off, despite pressing the brake down. Nothing working.
I checked all other fuses, nothing amiss there.
Have I done something when I pulled out that relay or something? It had no issues previously on a 200-mile drive or several shorter ones, and I'm 100% convinced its something to do with what I've done.
Help!
(I'm not that mechanically minded but I thought I would be able to change a fuse!)

You want x250 forum but what circuit was the blown fuse in? Try pulling it and see if it goes back to normal. Then try disconnecting battery, let sit for 15 minutes, then reconnecting.
