Default Exhaust note

I have the S model with the 380 HP supercharged V6. As the car has more mileage, I note the exhaust tone now has a growl to it even under moderate acceleration.

I know we were all disappointed in having virtually silent pipes, but this seems like it's moving the right way, at least for me.

Is the exhaust on the 380HP any different than the 340HP? Or am I just noticing it more now than before? Regardless I hope it continues to growl!

Here's what the SC V6 sounds like in 2013. No active exhaust just the standard setup.

The exhaust is the same on both models. What you're hearing is the muffler breaking in. I just put Magna Flow resonators on my 2016 XF and it sounds great!

Do you have a part number for the resos? And are they direct fit? Thanks.

Im not sure of the part number. Here is a picture of them. My XF sounds like a F-Type, Even gave it the 2 step between shift points.

This is promising.

Do you happen to have any links to the sound quality this setup produces?

Looks great - did you replace the stock resonators only, or did you delete the mufflers?

I am very interested in this. Can you please record the sound for us? How much was the total set up?

Any update on this?

I just traded my 2010 SC for a 2016 S and miss the old pipes.
