Default Mirror Dip in Reverse

I'm having problems with my mirror in that it wont dip when reverse is selected. I had a system update a few weeks ago and it seemed ok at first but now it doesn't work again.
Anyone got a fix?

First make sure you've activated that feature. If it is activated then it's broken ..... I had my mirror motor assembly replaced for the same problem but the dip is so small it's useless and I programmed seating position 3 to match 1 except for a usable dip.

As stated, make sure the feature is on. Next, put the vehicle into reverse and use the mirror control to set the dip position to where you'd like it to be. Many people don't realize that you can set the mirror position to be where you want it when dipped. Same as most vehicles with this feature.

Not so, though I wish it were. The dip angle is fixed. It will only dip Xdegrees from the set position.

Really? On my F-Type, it allows me to select the passenger mirror with the door controls, then position the mirror where I want it to be...while in reverse.

Really. Not what you call a good feature Don't know what they were thinking to incorporate a fixed reverse mirror dip angle.

I'm 6 foot and it doesn't come close to dipping enough for me so I set up the 3rd button to match the first position seating and a dip that works for me.

Yeah I did that too. It sorta works but would be better if you could set the dipped position.

At first that's what I thought as well but have since changed my mind. I only use the dip when parallel parking next to a curb and that doesn't happen very often. For the rest of the time in reverse no dip is better...... like when backing out of the garage or parking spots which happens much more often. To each their own.
