Hello all! I’m new to the jaguar family (just brought it home last night)

I have a 2016 Jaguar XF with inControl touch. And I noticed when I tried to load up the Nav an error popped up saying there was no SDCard, so I assumed the dealer would have had it somewhere, but I wasn’t given one.

The car is used so I’m guessing the previous owner took it with them? So what I need to know now is can I get the maps working with a USB or does it actually NEED an SD card inserted to actually work. Can it be any card with the maps from Jaguar.com loaded onto it or do I need to visit a dealer for something specific?

 

I think the SD card is tied to the car so the previous user will find it useless and you could be stuffed...

 

Yea I called the Dealership and Jaguar. The dealer said they would check but hasn’t called me back yet and Jaguar told me it’s a $500 replacement. Might go without for now.

 

Yeah, they do know how to charge!
