Welcome to the forums Metalart,

Does you vehicle have the entry and exit mode steering wheel and memory seats feature? If so and it is switched ON, this raises the steering column and moves the driver's seat full rearwards for ease of entry and exit.

Please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some information about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

Default Mystery Drivers seat movement.

Greetings from Oz (staylia). Re 2016. XF 2.0 turbo. Thanks SuperMod for your reply to my question on mystery drivers seat movement.I see my car is one year outside this forum, but hope there may be still some helpful advice. I don't know if I have Auto seat function. However there is a knob on the steering column side that says Auto /Off. I have read that earlier models can set the seat etc to move by programming with the key removed. I have tried the equivalent with ignition off then on without success. Any suggestions anyone. Many thanks.

You are in the wrong sub-forum mate, you have an X260 not an X250.
And it's Straya, where we talk Strine!

Hi OzXFR. Thanks for your reply. (I wrote "Ózstralia"on purpose as people from outside Oz are more likely to understand).Thank also for the info on X260. I have only had the car a short time and have never heard it described as X260. So i will try to find the forum. Regards.

Now you have confirmed Model & Year details, I've added them to your first post and moved the thread to X260 forum.
