This is what happened with the XK and the XF the XK has the steering wheel button because they have space for it , the XF has no space other than redesigning the pop up.The xf has heated and cooled seats and heated windshield so there is where the space to fit the heated steering wheel, wennt
for now you have to go in car info to turn it on
so what i did was contact the engineers to redesign it to fit , like i did in my Lexus videos ,if they don't ill easily do it
im on WeChat with them , making sure they make updates to issues which may arise, paying the amount of money for these products they better be good , no excuse

A couple years ago I updated my base OEM sound system to Premium Sound using the Jaguar Amp/ sub and center speaker. Then I added JBL door speakers and tweeters with a crossover. The sound with the new Tesla screen is much improved. I'm still pondering whether to swap the rear speakers but what a difference. You won't regret the upgrade.

My experience with wrapping is that over time you will get bubbles and creases. I believe hydro dipping is the way to go here, take it to a reputable place where they can print the same pattern of your OEM panels, so it matches your car.

I've done hydrodipping ,this will work fine the wrap is held in place with the bezal,if it wasn't I would hydro dip, but in this case it's Locked in and added 3m primer adhesive

It seems you are not able to get the inside of the bezel where it meets the screen, and you will never get the OEM pattern matching the original trim.

I'm not yet a Jag owner, but am very impressed with the work I have seen in this post. If/when I own one, I will definitely revisit this thread!

Default Problems with new Tesla unit

Hello from the UK
I have just fitted a Tesla unit into my XJL mostly working OK except for the hard buttons controlling the AC three buttons on the front of the screen two work OK(AC on and fan speed increase work ok) but the fan speed decrease button when pressed unlocks the car doors.
Also the seat heating and cooling controls on the panel are working in reverse, when you touch the left control on the panel the right hand seat is controlled and when you touch the right hand control the left hand seat is controlled, I have searched through settings but can find no way of altering this,I have found a setting to setting for the doors left or right.
I am talking with Canavie about it but not getting it sorted anybody got any ideas please maybe Dennis
Thanks Guys
Louis
Ps also finding it very hard to see the screen in bright sunlight
