Hello Denis,
I'm coming back to you because I still haven't found the solution to my 4G connection problem.
Access or modification rights are systematically blocked.
The seller tells me that he has never encountered this problem and, according to his words, is also looking for the solution.
Cordially

I had the same problem with my SIM card, was shown on the screen but no connection. I searched the net and found a solution

All European SIM cards come preinstalled with a SIM PIN, however on our Units there's you're not asked to to enter the PIN when it starts so the SIM card is Locked.

Solution is to put the SIM in your phone and in the settings turn off the SIM Lock. Then put it in your car and enjoy 4G

Hope this solves your problem.

Hello Taffyduck,
Thank you for this information. I will try this evening.
I will keep you informed of the result.
This is information that would be very necessary to the seller who does not seem to know it.

Taffyduck,
I want to thank you. I just deactivated my PIN code and there, miraculously, it finally works.
Your solution is indeed the one I've been waiting for for months.
Thanks again. Very good weekend

Yeah. This is a big problem with the vendors. They don't know jack. I am working my no hazard light problem with these guys now, and I am communicating with the vendor who then communicates with the engineer. This is making it take longer, plus the questions they sometimes ask make me wonder if they even have a unit assembled to work with. I wish they would just send me the schematics for the head unit, and let me try to figure it out myself.

Glad I could help solve the problem😁
Just wondering if anyone has found a way to change the time in the centre of the dash? Luckily today we're changing back to Sommer time here in Europe which means mine will be back to the correct time 😁 but what happens it the battery is disconnected?

Hello,
As far as I am concerned, as soon as I had my car radio installed in December 2021, I deactivated the update according to the time zone to set it manually.
Once set, I re-enabled the network-provided time.
I just checked, I'm on daylight saving time.

Hello,
My car radio is now fully operational. I still have a question about the display setting.
Let me explain, I have a video application that is displayed in full screen but the adjustment buttons are located under the air conditioning adjustment strip.
Is it possible to hide the banner or how to adjust the display.
thank you for your reply

I finally got my unit today as well... all of the below was included.
Surprised to see that the trim plastics were actually hydro dipped to mimic wood... and button for the glove box was included with some trim removal tools as well :|.

What are these wires for!?
Adapters to use the existing car's wires or something else!? What do I actually need to connect from this mess? lol
Should be interesting...

It had a video camera included as well, but is not in the pictures. Unless someone has like a DIY on how to wire it, I have no idea how to for now .[/QUOTE]
Please, could you tell me the link of your supplier?
Seems they're fixing some issues, like wood trim aspects.
Thanks in advance

Just saw this. Were you referring to me about the hazard lights? I have a 2012 XJL rather than the XF. No connector like that. The connector that has the hazard signal comes in on a flat connector with motherboard. The last picture in post number 291 by agcb is the connector I have, with the exception mine only has 2 wires. I am suspecting that the other wires not being present on mine might be the actual problem.
