Get under the car and look. Remove the covers and you should find it. I'd bet it's near one of the rear wheels. Nobody has posted about it that I can remember

Geez! Why do all these folks have to make us look bad???

The fuel filter is behind the wheelarch liner in the rear of the LF wheel well. Not really difficult to change.

Cheers,

That's where most DEW platforms had them. I guess it hasn't changed for the XF.

Default "steve" was indeed correct

BUT….I brought it to 3 local places- thinking all i need is a lift - when Steve said "behind" the wheel arch - I figured a panel like the XF brake fluid panel.
u need to unbolt the entire section on the 2009 XF

I own a hammer
If i make a hole in the wall- its a "feat"

But I listened to some on the board and went to non Jag dealer-
JagPro in Bellemore NY
Charged me $20.00 install and I bought the fuel filter from Jag for like 24.00

going to bring it to him for some maybe major work

tks

.....you need to remove the plastic arch liner , AFAIK it is front LEFT wheel arch. Have you done this and its not there ???? Unclear from what you are saying. You can't see it just by looking, need to remove the arch liner. Apologies if this is what you have already done, HTH
