Default 2010 3.0D XF seized back brake

The drivers side (right-hand drive) brake caliper is sticking. The calipers, pads and discs are only brand new and we're only installed a few days ago.

However when I realise and pulled over the disc was pretty hot and was smoking so I am not sure if I have ruined the disc and caliper!!

Considering the discs and calipers are only new I'm guessing it's an issue with the handbrake cable, is this a known issue and destroy a way of disconnecting the handbrake cable or just not using the handbrake.

Theyfreed out after a few minutes and I managed to drive the car home so it's an intermittent problem which may end up being a stuck caliper rather than the handbrake!!

It's an automatic so at least I can leave it in park

Turns out it is the handbrake arm on the caliper (Brand New) that is stuck

Dealer will see if it can be freed out or just replaced
