Default 2013 XFR Exhaust

Alright gents, it's time for me to make my car a little less shouty. My current setup is straight through from the catalytic converters back. No secondary silencers and no rear mufflers.

After looking around it seems like Mina has the most affordable option for something that is an easy bolt on, and they will sell me a set with black exhaust tips which is important.

Just want to know if anybody has any other suggestions, ideas, or any other input. Or perhaps even a used set of rear performance mufflers they'd consider letting go...

I used Elite RR back boxes from Elite performance Jags in Derby, UK. prices were reasonable and shipping wasn't too bad at all. They make them for you, so you have the ability to tailor it a bit to your liking one way or the other. Exhausts are such a personal preference I don't usually chime in on the subject from a sound perspective, however, from a cost perspective, they are worth investigating. Good fit and quality thus far.

If you have already cut the OEM system then there is nothing to be gained and no savings to be made by fitting a "bolt on" system like Mina, as a fair bit of cutting and welding will be needed anyway.
It's usually cheaper to go to a local professional exhaust shop and have them build a system for you.

That's one concern I do have, but as far as I can tell the stock bolts for the rear mufflers are still there and in the correct place. I bought the car with the current exhaust setup and it looks like someone just welded some short lengths of pipe where the mufflers and silencers used to be. I'll take some pictures when it stops raining.

Here are some pictures I was able to take without lifting the car. You can see the less than stellar weld job of just a length of pipe where the muffler would be. Also I'm pretty certain these are the stock clamps, so a bolt on system *should* slip right on...

If that's the case I'd recommend the Mina system. Sounds great and an easy bolt on

Yep, it looks like the stock pipes and brackets other than the mufflers so a Mina system should bolt straight up.
