Hi everyone,

If there's anyone out there with SDD knowledge I'd really welcome your advice. I have two 2014 XF Sportbrakes. Both cars came with just one key and, having SDD V138, I've been trying to add a second fob for each. All went well with the first car and I now have two fully-functioning keys. Unfortunately the second car (which is a later VIN No by 9,000) won't play ball. I can get so far through the process but, as shown in attached picture, it shows "Failed To Open The Required Flash File(s)". I'm presuming that it requires a software update ??? That being the case does anyone know where/how I can get same ?? Thanks in advance.

 

Try clicking on "settings" up in the top right.
Then there are different options.
Sounds like you need to download calibration files. You can also check for software updates at that page.

Long process sometimes so don't get in a hurry!
