Just curious and would like to know how is it working out for you. Right now I like the way my iphone 4S works conveniently with my car. I have the Scosche adapter that charges it as well. Is their an Iphone 5 adapter? if so, does it charges the phone?

 

I've had success with my iphone5 streaming via bluetooth, using the lightning cable and using the old 30pin cable with 30pin-to-lightning adapter.

 

Where u get the adapter?
And did u lose any of the functionality that u normally would have? Example, controls on the steering wheel and screen interface still function like normal?

 

I have just been using the aux into the headphone plug in on the Iphone 5. Works just fine!

 

Apple store, it's called lightning-to-30pin adapter $30. I haven't noticed any lost features. Apples makes same adapter with a 8" cord for $40 as well.

Works great in my '12 XF, although Bluetooth is the easiest if you don't need to charge...it also works in my other cars with ipod interfaces and my Bose SoundDock...I was sold & bought a 2nd.

I believe aftermarket companies will be able to make after new year but for now it's an Apple only product.
