Boot closed with battery disconnected - RESOLVED

Morning all I have a 2011 jaguar XF with the 2012 facelift, I had to do some work on the car which required disconnecting the battery, my grandson wishing to help closed the boot, result no power to the system no response from the fob to open the boot, now I can't get into it to reconnect the battery, if anyone has any ideas they would be very much appreciated, thanks in anticipation

Hi found a key slot in the underside of the boot lid which I thought was for a not fitted reversing camera, boot is now open

That key hole usually has a black plastic cover over it, with a key logo on it. Interestingly, on mine at least, the underside of the cover has the Volvo logo on it!
