Hi all, hoping to get some advice for a good auto electrics engineer.. I drive an XF 11 plate and last week the screen wash pump came on and ran constantly until it burnt out. I’ve had the pump changed but have been told that again when connected it runs constantly so for now it has had to be disconnected to avoid burning it out again. The mechanic believes there is an issue with the central control module or that something else is telling the module to run the washer pump continuously but it’s not something he knows much about.. Anyone know of this kind of fault and a trustworthy electrical specialist in the Birmingham area? I’m thinking a visit to the dealership will be very expensive.. Thanks in anticipation.
