2008 XF: Have anybody fitted a DAB adapter using an antenna splitter to utilise the existing FM antenna?

And have anybody had any success using a DAB radio that transmits on the FM band instead of feeding into the FM antenna? I tried this and the FM radio lost contact with the DAB repeatedly.
