My wife's car has HD radio and picks up extra interesting stations.

My 2010 XK does not have HD. Is there a module to upgrade or is this not possible?

Surprisingly, searching yields really nothing on HD radio.

My 2010 XKR DOES have HD, I figured they all would. Did you go to TOPix and check your VIN info? Did you check all the settings in the Audio Setup screen? Take note, some screens have a SCROLL arrow for more screens.

 

I have it but in our area there are very few HD stations so for all practical purposes I don't use it. I found if you don't have a strong signal I need to turn off the feature.

 

If it was a factory option then yes it can be retrofitted.

I recently retrofitted DAB+ Digital Radio to a couple of Land Rovers using factory parts.

It would be a similar process to fit HD Radio or Sirius to a US-spec vehicle, so long as it was a factory option at the time.

Not listed in TOPix, and yes, have checked all screens, those that scroll as well as those that go to a new screen.
So it was apparently optional in 2010. And not on my XK.
I can't really find info on a retrofitted DAB, or the DAB module.

Anybody have clues?
