Hi All,

Just a quick question if anyone has a quick solution.

The engine light has come on after startup about 10 seconds after the car has a rough idle almost as if it is to stall and then runs fine. This has happened now twice in about 4 weeks and once last year. Last year and last month after multiple times (can't recall how many) starting the vehicle the engine light cleared itself. This last time I thought I would check the codes before they go out.

P0301
P0302
P0303
P0304
P0305
P0306
P0308
P0316

A bunch of misfires (which makes sense as the car almost stalled out) but anyone have any ideas? How do you fix something when you don't know what's causing it...fix everything?

Maybe spark plugs or O2 sensor?

Help would be appreciated. 2009 XF NA.

Read fuel trims and look for an air leak.

Spark plugs don't all go bad at once. If the codes all flagged at once you're looking for a single cause.

 

How old is the battery? Is it factory?

Before replacing anything clear all the codes and see what comes back.

Odd electrical problems point to replacing the battery.
