I brought this beauty off Ebay, it cost £18 which was more then the other buttons but it was the one that felt would look the best with my trim. Well worth it IMO as it covers the old knob where the previous owner had scratched it with I assume a wedding ring.
It's basically just a metal raised emblem sticker. I just peeled the back off, having already ensured it fitted and stuck it down. About 15 seconds fitting time and it makes quite a difference for the better IMO. It's like a final touch they forgot to add or the original had peeled off.
The issue I've always had with these stick on things is that they are either centrally aligned with the car when the shifter is down, or aligned when it is up. Due to the fact the shifter rotates I think it looks weird to see that it is only centrally aligned when it is in one of many positions. Thoughts?
Aligned when in Park. Crooked when driving. Never even think about it being askew when driving and it looks a lot more interesting than the blank shifter.
FYI all, i contacted the ebay seller in UK and he shipped me the leaper with the lettering to the US. listed says no, but....
costs a bit, but i think worth it!
