Hi

I am the proud new owner of a 2008 XF 4.2 V8, lovely car however I have two concerns and any help would be REALLY appreciated:

1) The keyless entry is not working nor is the remote fob (I have been using the manual key on the passenger door to gain access), the car starts fine and the smart key is recognised (and I have changed the battery too) but the remote locking or keyless entry does not work.

I bought another key fob and brought it to Jaguar to reprogramme which they said they could not do as they were having problems communicating with the keyless entry module. I have got to go back to get the car rebooked for a full day aparently.

2) The SatNav is not working, I have check and the disc is in the reader, when I press the Navigation button on the interface I just get a black screen. Aparently Jaguar tried to reboot the whole system to no avail.

Has anyone had anything similar?
