Default Help!! Need Crank Main and Rod Cap Torque Specs

Hey Guys I am in the process of assembling the bottom end of my Motor and I am looking for specs on the Bolts for the Main Caps and The Rods. Does anyone have the specs and order in which the bolts must be Tightened for the Main Caps as well as the specs for the Rods? I am looking for the 5.0L SC or 3.0L SC specs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Dragos

The Workshop Manual is light on detail. I think there must be a separate Engine Manual which I don't have.

Here's the torque specifications and con rod / piston re-assembly:

There is no workshop manual on internal engine rebuilds.

You may find my rebuild thread helpful, if a little long

If they are the same size bolts they should be the same torque figures.

hi thank you for the reply back. The bolt is 5cm long so would this still imply same torque setting as in your previous post?

Or perhaps how would I know the bolt size of the 5.0L? I am taking this job on souly by touch and feel helping a friend out and is my first xf diesel changing big ends on so just want to be sure I have everything right before I start assembling and not through more damage into the mix

So I’ve been told but also told that it was a ford engine lol So I am definitely not finishing this car off as the con rod caps will never be torqued to spec at this rate. This car is literally only missing these torque specs.

From my experience all torque figures are related to the bolt size and length not the name on the engine or the exact design. I'm sure if you Google engine bolt sizes v. torque you will find what you need. At the end of the day that are just bolts that need to be tight.
Something like this.
