Welcome to the forum Cyndi,

I've moved your question from General Tech Help to X250 (XF and XFR) forum. Different brands and types of tyre suit different Jaguar models. Members here with the same model will be able to advise.

When you get a minute, please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some info about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

I just bought a set of Yokohama S Drives in the 20 inch size from Tire Rack and got a great deal. They ride nice and I got them for a good price. I have them on my Miata which I drive aggressively and could only say good things about them for street use. You could by the more expensive Toyo's or Nittos which I think would be a waste of money for the XF with street duty.

I put these on my car and I am very happy with them.

I see they are available in your size as well.

Have always been extremely pleased with Bridgestone tires. Have used them on the wife's cars and have them on my truck. We will probably put Bridgestone 970s on the wife's car. She uses 18s but I am pretty sure they are available in 20s. Michelins are usually a great tire but are more expensive than the Bridgestones.

I will be buying Michelin Pilot Super sports when I replace mine. Based on reviews from Owners and others, is best performance tire on market. Do a search on this topic as this has been discussed often. There are less expensive options. Welcome to the forum.

Back in April last year I cross shopped the Michelin Pilot Super Sports (PSS) with the Bridgestone Potenza S-01 "Pole Position", in 285/30R20 rear and 255/35R20 front.
Going by all the tests and reviews and comparisons I read, the S-01s are/were not quite as good as the PSS, but very close, call it 95% as good.
But the S01s were only 65% of the cost of the PSS (at Tire Rack). So I bought a set, and I've been very happy with them. Good grip both wet and dry, reasonably quiet, not too hard riding, and wearing very well so far.

I have 20 x 8.5 wheels all around right now with 255/35R20 Yokohama S Drive tires. On my next tire change, I hope to run a staggered set of wheels with the 285 in the rears and 255 in the fronts.

I recommend Nitto NT555s. Great tire, quiet, sticky, long lasting and cheap(ish) for 20s

Whoops, I meant S-04 not S-01.
