Just filled up. 371 range. My 2010 XF 5.0 l Prem lux got 26-27 MPG on the highway which was fabulous. The 2011 XF SC Sport 23-24 MPG highway 
but it much speedier and the 5.0 NA was fast.

Interestingly the 2012 528i is a 4 cylinder engineer which puts out nearly the same bhp but more torque and from a lower rpm, which is what counts, as the 6 cylinder it replaces all with performance that exceeds the old 6 cylinder (C & D quoted 0 - 60 mph of 5.9 seconds). This BMW N20 engine is amazing. Now all we want is something similar in our Jags!! Technology is moving very fast these days and the fact that a 2 litre, 4 cylinder is in the same ball park as a NA 5 litre V8 (the engine in my XF) in terms of performance is unbelievable (Jag 0 - 60 is 5.4, the BMW 0 - 60 is 5.9). Now all we need to see is whether it lasts!!
