It's super easy if you have the factory subwoofer, as the battery and the speaker level inputs are all in the back. If not, it will be a bit harder to find the signal you will need.

If you have the factory sub, that is where you need to tap as the system has already crossed over the signal response sending sub frequencies to the sub and everything above the sub to the full range speakers.

If you don't have a factory sub, you can pull signal off the woofer speakers, both left and right as the bass frequencies are still in stereo until combined by your sub amp into a mono signal.

The low level signal coming from the headunit is not available to you as it is digital prior to the amp but you can pull the high level output from the wiring from the amp headed to the speakers rather than trying to get to a door speaker.

Here is the wiring going to the Sub

If you need the wiring coming off the amp going to the speakers, PM me and I will send you the pdf file.

Does your amp have speaker level inputs or signal sensing capabilities? If not you should get an Audio Control LC2 which will take the speaker level inputs and convert them to high quality line level signal and also has signal sensing so you won't need to find a remote turn on.

How would you guys get the remote signal to the aftermarket amp? so it does not stay on 24/7. Doing the hi/low output converter if I am wrong correct me but iI think you would not have sub control from the head unit.
