iOS 13 infotainment issues while plugged into iPod wire
As we all know, the standard iPod wire that came with the car is for the old 30-pin devices. When i got the car, i bought the 30pin to lightning adapter....and my iPhone worked perfectly. However, with this latest release of iOS (13)...the iPod functionality doesnt work. it will work for 1 second and stop i.e., if i am playing a song in pandora, it will play the song immediately as i plug it in, and then stop as if i pressed pause. Same goes for playing youtube
thoughts? i dont think its a situation of it not working, but rather something is causing the device to think it needs to be paused. One of my theories is that my device doesnt actually have any music on it to play, which is probably why the device stops? not quite sure, will experiment with that today

update: the issue was in fact due to i didnt have any songs stored on my phone.
once i loaded a song into itunes, everything started working perfectly, including pandora, spotify and youtube.
