Default iPhone X and Bluetooth Module C2Z18541

My bluetooth module quit in my car recently, so before I buy a new one, I want to see if it's compatible with my phone. The Jag website says this module only controls up to an iPhone 5s. I had a 7 plus working with it before, so I don't really trust the site. Does anyone have more reliable information? Is there a programming fix for this module that will improve compatibility?

Thanks in advance!

The newest phone module for the pre-facelift is the C2Z18541, the part number on the label is AX23-10F845-AA, there's no software updates for that module, it's the final version.

If you need a replacement module just get a 2nd hand AX23-10F845-AA and put it in, cheaper option than buying a new one.

I’ve identified the correct part, but my concern is purchase a gift and not having it compatible with an iPhone X. Are you aware if the model number you identified will support that model phone?

If the phone module in your car has failed, then you have to replace it either way, it's not like there are different modules to choose from, that's the one you get.

I've not heard of anyone reporting that the iPhone X doesn't work in their early XF or XK.

Works fine in my 2010 XF with original module
For calls only of course. It doesn't do music streaming. You need to add a separate Bluetooth dongle for that - either a generic one to the USB port for cheap, or I use WMA1000 bovee which connects to iPod apple doc in center console and does streaming BT music plus displays songs on car screen, allows skip tracks with car controls etc
