Hi, I have a 2015 Jaguar XF AWD. Last winter I used a set of Jaguar Aleutian rims (From an XJ), It meausres 9x19 (Front) and 10x19 (Rear). Tires I used were Continental ContiWinterContact measuring 255/45 R19 (Front) and 285/40 R19 (Rear). They fit very snuggly, with very minor rubbing in the front while the wheels were complete turned in either direction, the rubbing was b/w the tires and the fender liner (Not the actual body work).
I have since left that set for my Dad's XJL as It's a more appropirate size for an XJ and there wont be any rubbing issues.
As to my QUESTION:
I found a set of Jaguar F-Type Vela rims (That were supposedly available on the XF - but I've never seen them here in Canada). They measure 8.5x18 (Front) and 9.5x18 (Rear), with Pirelli Sotto Zero 3 with tires measuring 245/45 R18 (Front) and 275/40 R18 (Rear). So far, so good. The concern is: That although the F-Type rims have same offset in the front (49mm to 50mm) as the XF, XJ, XK, F-Pace etc; however the rear offset on the Vela rims are 27mm; whereas, all the Jaguar sedans and SUV (AFAKI) have offset ranging from 49mm to 51mm.
Will I run into issues using the F-Type rims and tire setup for winter use? I'm mainly concerned about it sticking too far out (Rubbing against the rear fender arch). The rolling diamater is about the same so I don't reckon it will screw up the AWD system, albeit it's not a squared set up as recommended for modern AWD vehicles.
My current summer set up is a set of 20 Inch Venom wheels (From an F-Pace) 8.5x20 (Front and Rear) with 255/35 R20 Pirelli P Zero.
I'm getting a good deal on the set, otherwise I'd look into getting a squared set up for winter as wide tires don't benifit winter driving,
Yes F-type offsets are wrong, at least for the 20 in Velo. Usually Inward bound too much and you have AWD will interfere with the front diff. This is from experience. Your calculator states otherwise, so maybe the 18 are different offsets?
BTW that's a great calculator, can you post a link?

I decided to go with a set of Jaguar kasuga rims (From an XJ) with Pirelli Sotto Zero III measuring 255/35 R20 w/ 49 mm offset (Front) and 285/30 R20 w/ 47 mm offset (Rear).
Like I said before, ideally I'd stick with 17 inch or 18 inch rims with 235 width and a high profile tire, but I'm getting these pretty cheap aswell so going to roll with it.
