Default Jaguar xfr 2010 stalled in the middle of the road.

Hi guys today i had a weird incident, i was driving normally after a 100 km trip, suddenly the car stalled, no power steering, brake pedal hard, the shifter lights blinking, all lights on the instrument panel flashing, luckily it happened near a red light, turn signals working, i turned off the car then on everything back no normal like nothing ever happened, drove an additional 100 km without any problems.
i didn't loose power completely, but i noticed the clock went from 24 hrs setting to am-pm. And the display went to mileage instead of range in which i had it.

The supercharger coupler was recently replaced.

The only different thing i did was change fuel octane i was running 95 today i filled it up with 97 i had a little of 95 left in the tank.

Any ideas what could have caused this, its a scary incident could lead to an accident i was lucky to not be on the highway.

I ran scan while a managed to park in a safe spot, no error codes...

Maybe the fuel pump is on the way out.

I took out the back seat to check the fuel pump conector, since i saw a video of the center pins getting burnt, it looked really clean, no overheating spots.

You won't necessarily find such on the pins.

BTW it wasn't the higher-octane fuel.

My guess is that's it's fuel starvation related.

Some times i did notice it being a bit sluggish, like it didn't accelerate as usual, also gas mileage is bad it's drinking a lot.

Here is some additional info.
fuel pressure reading with ignition no.

Fuel pressure reading on start up.

Fuel pressure reading after warming up.

It's like it never happened everything seems to check out fine, I'm just feeling unsafe driving the car if this happens again on the highway i might not get so lucky.

Could be water in the tank.

Is there an easy way to check for water in fuel?

Water is heavier so if you get fuel from the tank bottom (which is what is pumped towards the injectors), put it in a glass jar & you'll see it separate into layers.

Just noticed this bit. If you lost settings it seems more likely that an ECU reset for some reason. So I personally think you can rule out anything fuel related. Almost certainly electrical related.

Probably I'm just a bit lost don't know what to look for, could it be loose ground cable?, The s/c coupler was recently done, do you know is there's any ground cable removing involved to get the s/c off.

That could be a failing battery or bad connection to it.

Tested the car yesterday i let it idle for 30 min in garage, did a short trip, parked at the supermarket got back then home, everything normal like nothing ever happened?

It's so weird, might be a battery dying, could be a bad cell maybe?, Any ideas on how to determine if there's something wrong with the battery?

Some guys pointed out it could be related to the dongle, has anyone experienced problems with Bluetooth OBD2 reader i always keep it in the port, and run torque on my unit.

Update:

I think it could be a battery problem i tested each cell with a multimeter, first cell next to the positive reads 1.5v, second 1.8v, all the other 2.0-2.1v.

A guy in another forum said he had the same problem when one of his cells went.

My battery voltage usually reads 11.7 v, after sitting overnight, car starts and runs fine.

What do you guy's think could this be the problem?

My 2007 XKR started cutting out while driving and I eventually realised it only happened when I had the OBD dongle connected.

One time the car totally died in the middle of a three lane one way system and I had to disconnect and reconnect the battery to bring it back to life!

11.7 is essentially dead. No wonder you have problems.

Thanks guys for all the help i guess this narrows it down to removing the dongle, and take care of the battery, since the battery is relatively new i took it out last night and hooked it up to a pulse repair charger, hope that fixes it untill I get a new one.
