needing an extra car - so looking at options and found a couple of XF's (a 2009 supercharged and a 2010) popping up locally.


Aside from the bubbling dash issues - any other major concerns with this breed of cat?

The differential issue on my 09 has been the bane of my existence for the past 2 years. Just installed a used diff from an 08 s type in it yesterday. If it continues to leak I'll probably drive it off a cliff.

 

In my opinion, get a 2010 5.0.




The issues with the sticking fuel door and transmission pop-up failure should not be an issue.


The only thing to look for is if the water pump has been replaced. The most miles you get out of the original one is 60K.
