Default New Brembo Discs Scoring After Only 600 miles

I did a lot of research on pads and discs and had a full set of Brembos front and rear fitted last October to my X250 XF S. I've only covered 600 miles since then and soon after they were fitted I noticed the discs were beginning to become scored. My last XF had the standard discs for about 40,000 miles and were still fine after this mileage. I only ever brake progressively and lightly. I've attached some photos - I'm getting the garage that fitted the brakes to check them out this week but in the meantime does anyone know what's likely to be the cause and is it possible to correct this?

I also get a squealing sound when pressing the brakes lightly when going down a hill. I only cover a very low mileage at the moment but I'm concerned that the discs could already be an MoT advisory. Over the phone, the garage thinks it could be through lack of use but I have another much older Jaguar that gets used even less and the discs look free of any scoring after over 10 years. The rears are more scored than the front discs. Many thanks in advance for any advice.

1. Your pads are not properly bedded in. You need to bed the pads to the rotor with a break in procedure. 10 stops at each speed, 30-5mph, 50-5mph, and 70-5 mph never coming to a full stop ever. They should lightly smell or smoke. Then drive for 20-30 minutes to cool them down Once cools down, park the car for a day. Should be all good to go the next day.
2. Brembo has subpar metallurgy in all their consumer products to accelerate wear so you buy them more often. In the GTR world, they crack brand new never used rotors in one single 20 minute session on track. Same for everything else that comes with Brembo. I would never trust them on my car.
3. Alcon also makes fantastic OEM rotors for the XF that have better metallurgy made by Centric. https://www.zeckhausen.com/catalog/i...2647_5717_7168

Rotors:
A-Rated: Performance Friction makes superior brake components, and the best in the business is AP Racing.
B-Rated: Stoptech, High Carbon slotted, OEM, Alcon, Cryostop are good too
F-Rated Brembo, EBC, All Bargain parts from Autozone/Orilley/Advance Auto

And Yes, I am aware that Brembo owns AP Racing. But if you think that means their products are similar, you are mistaken their performance is on the opposite end of the spectrum.

That looks like corrosion from parking outside in wet or snowy weather combined with lack of use and lack of heavy braking. I have just returned from 2 months in Florida where this winter has been wetter and colder than normal, and I had to park outside. I only did short runs at low speed and little brake use. The brake rotors looked like yours. On my way home I deliberately did some heavy braking, and after 2000kms when I arrived home my rotors looked normal.
You need to follow Mr.Smith's advice above.
