New XF Owner
Well, after more than two years of owning and loving a pristine 2003 XJ8 (53k miles at purchase), yesterday I bought a super-pristine 2013 XF with all the options (52k miles). This car is so beautiful - crystal blue exterior and London tan interior with navy blue trim. It has what appears to be a custom-made, London tan diamond leather floor covering over the top of the factory carpet and floor mats. I am going to pin-stripe it this weekend with metallic royal-blue striping.
I drove it 350 miles to get it home. I got it home safely, but, now it seems to have developed a coolant leak. I'll have to get that checked out and fixed.
So, any words of advice or caution (in general) from forum members for a newbie XF owner?
Thank you all.

Congrats and welcome. Sounds like a great car
Lotus is right on the coolant. I wouldn't drive it. Overheating is death to these engines and it's a 12-15000 dollar replacement. So car is written off...
As well as fixing the leak I would suggest at least replacing the coolant pump unless it has been done v recently (they are prone to failure) and at the same time can do the plastic connectors which also fail. A few v good write ups on here or find an Indy to do it (and share the write up!)
