Default No water comes out of the windshield wiper

Dears,
I got an issue with my Jag X250 2.2l, when I need to whash the car glass pressing the button, the high pression is working fine, the windshild are moving but the water is not coming on the car grass.
i verified the fuses and I verified the pump (also tried to change anyway) but all seems to be ok, the voltage on the pump plug is not ok and the water pump is ok.
There is the possibility to get any tips on how to find out where the wirings is connected and routed so that I can investigate what is wrong or to have the wiring diagram just to check wiring?
Thanks,
Ale

The multiplug for the washers is the top left grey plug in the fusebox in the footwell

Hi Ale,

You can download the wiring diagrams for the 2012 X250 at the link below. The schematics should be very close or identical to your car.

John Williams I think your picture also shows the corrosion that results when the washer fluid migrates up the wires to that junction box?
Is that some corrosion in the pins?

Dears,
after many try to fix the wiper water issue I got a new issue on my Jaguar XF 2014 and I now selling it.

I went to a Jaguar Garage in Svitzerland (I was there for few days) and they told me that after removing a plug from the PSI (The part shower by clubairth1 on the picture above) the car was stopped and not able to be moved, they asked me the second kay I had not with me, so I asked to go ahead as if after programming the key it was not working and we had a discussion about the responsibility of this intervention (me as owner or them because the car was working when I left it to the Garage and only the water was not).
After few minutes the dead car was working and the grage told me it was just a reset and all was ok (it mean as before, no water and no electronic steering adjustment ). I do not really know what they did but it seems really something similar to what happened to me now on another garage.

For what I understood, this time my new garege checking the electric steering column adjustment, disconnected a plug from the PSI (the one on the picture clubairth1 circled in the picture above), in my car it is ok and no corrosion or bad contact in it, but from the diagnostic was appearing the message B10A9-00 and on the display the message "Impossible to find the Samrt Key. Check the manual". As the Jaguar garage told me first time.

Once the engineer verified the alarms it seems that the RFA is not working and the ID number is corrupted.
He suggested me to reprogramm the car systems (Jaguar is needed) in order to get it solved even if he cannot ensure me the electric steering will work again, in the worst case I have to replace the PSI with a new one. But the similarity with the issue in Svitzerland is so high that I cannot beleave there is no other way to switch on the car again (even if the issue of water and stearing will persist).

Do you ever had this issue and were you able to solve it?

Thanks,
Ale

Good that you don't have any corrosion in the JB.
I would follow the reprogramming steps the garage suggested and then see if that fixes it.

When you say PSI I "think" your taking about the CJB Central Junction Box's or sometimes what's called the BCM Body Control Module?

When I talk about PSI I talk about the part you showed with the corrosion on the plug, and that one is exactly what was removed to get this new issue.

This morning the car is reaching the Jaguar Garage to be programmed, I hope this will solve the issue. I will let you know how it will end.

Hello Everibody,
It seems that is the "Front fuse Box" the cause of the issue.
Is anyone able to know wich is the correct model for the VIN: SAJAA05K2EDU21229 (It is Jag XF 2.2L 147KW year 2014)?
I saw hundreds different models on Internet and I do not know wich one is the correct one, the estetic is the same.

Thnkas,
Ale

Go to a Jaguar dealer parts web site and search for the JB. Be aware that Jaguar uses the last 6 digits of your VIN to properly identify the parts.
We have seen some posts about reprogramming the JB rather than replacing it. Any chance you could try that?
I believe it will require the use of SDD.

Thank you clubairth1,
I tried to enter the VIN to get the correct part number but it is not recognized by the Jaguar parts dealer (no idea why) but it is not working even with the new car.

Anybody knows if there is a Garage in the north of Italy able to reprogramming the JB with SDD just to try to fix this ?

Boy that is weird! Yes I also get your VIN as not recognized by the OEM Jaguar parts dealer?
Any chance there is an error in the VIN?
I would hate to see you get some wrong parts.

In JPART Jaguar lists different VIN's? Yours should have a R or an S and then 5 numbers. Your car has a U instead?

This is the listing from JPART and you can see the parts depend on the VIN.

Note that if I guess and just use the last 5 numbers JPART has C2Z11617 as the "Front Fuse Box" which is what I think you need.
I can't check this as I am in the US so all the dealer web sites do not list that engine combination.
That part number does come up as valid but now discontinued. Take a look as this web page as it also has some additional part numbers you could check.
Front Fuse Box

Further digging on the classic parts web site turns up some additional part numbers.
Jaguar Classic Parts

Why two different part numbers? I don't know.
Following up on C2Z213686 shows a price but you need to contact them before ordering.

Thanks a lot clubairth1,
I confirm the VIN number is correct and the letter is "U" .
I will try to contact them just to be sure it is the correct number.
