So whilest out showing a Hellcat that he was not the biggest Kitty in town at 125mph I heard an impact noise similar to a wheel weight coming loose and striking an inner fender lining. I immediately let off the accelerator and felt a vibration.
Once on the rack I immediately found the problem with the "Guibo/Jurid/Flexible coupler" to the driveshaft. Once removed the damaged revealed itself..a chunk was missing from one of the bolt sleeves, and the part came out in 3 pieces. I replaced this part with a new one last month during a differential change. I bought one off of ebay/amazon/somewhere on-line without too much thought. In hindsight.... search out and buy the German manufactured coupler. The missing chunk! The new modular design 🤣🤣🤣 Put the old one back in smooth as glass...but ordered the new German one!
I think you will have to go to a reputable supplier of Flexible drives. Where it is allegedly made is of no consequence these days.
From Ali Express I can get you one with any country of manufacture you want, with a Green and White JLR coded makers label.

Thanks for sharing, and glad the kitty is safe.
Thanks for the input and you are 100% correct! I did much more confirming with the new order lol
Glad it did not turn out worse!!
If you can post back what you used with a part number and price. As we know Jaguar does NOT service this item separately and they will replace the entire drive shaft assembly at a ridiculous price instead!
Any Hellcats I have come across have had more than adequate power to roast me!
