My pre certfied warranty for my 2012 xf will get over soon.

Thinking of what all I can ask the dealer to check out from a precautionary stand point while I take the car to the dealer for an oil change?

Car has 46K miles on it and the major repairs done so far are for the typical failure points like replacing Water pump, coolant manifold outlet pipe etc

 

I don't know if this applies to the NA version of the 5.0 engine, but my supercharged R had the dreaded startup rattle and they ended up replacing a TON of stuff. If you have that rattling sound at idle, have them take a look. The water pump is another thing that likes to die... but I see you have had that done.

Also ask about the airbag recall, maybe they have them available. I got mine replaced right after the recall started because they happened to have a few in, otherwise I'd be on a 1 year list.
