I just bought a 2012 XFR and i'm interested in finding production numbers. Does anyone know of where to find this information?

I have found lots of useful info on this forum already but thats one piece of the puzzle i can't seem to find.

Ask Jaguar (UK)?

I've seen earlier figures but not what you ask.

 

I found Jaguar less than co-operative with my last enquiry which was simply the VIN of the final XK produced. The inital response was they didn't have this information and when pointed out the foolishness of such a claim, the response was "due to our policies Jaguar will not allow us to release any figures on vehicles produced after 1989 ......"

To find the answer, I kept entering VIN's after mine in TOPIx until I got to the last one listed.

The best source for production figures is author Nigel Thorley in his Jaguar - All the Cars which is currently in its fourth edition. He gives extensive detail on production years and specifications for the XF/XFR but no production numbers whereas he does list annual production figures for other models. If he hasn't got them, I'd be amazed if anyone else does.
