So if I go away for awhile, it means I'm up to no good...
Just finished installing my Quicksilver exhaust
For comparision, I had my old XFR Stock Exhaust (the one in the middle with the valve), the Stock XFR-S Exhaust (apparently no valve) and the Quicksilver, you can see the size difference, and what translates to a significant weight difference
You can see the photos below:
I love the rumble, and the new sound, I never took a photo of the finished product, but I did take some videos of before and after from outside and inside the car.
Videos won't play in window browser, but you can get them to play if you download them and use a media player (VLC, etc...). Damn Photobucket isn't working, and don't have a youtube account.
Sounds better.
I was lucky as my Le Mans special edition XFR came as standard with the Quicksilver system. It sounds the dogs.
Lucky that you got this setup standard... but the downside you wouldn't know how good it is, since you haven't compared it to anything else...
I still agree that I love how it sounds

Thanks, driving clips coming soon, will be heading to the track towards the end of the month, and honestly, I don't think any camera mic will do it justice, the car sounds like an absolute beast.

I can tell you they are even lighter than they look, and Spires is very similar to Quicksliver.
The big change, is I was really excited when I did my lower supercharger pulley, I could actually hear the supercharger whine, but now the exhaust has balanced out the lovely engine noise, and you get to hear the engine and exhaust compliment each other throughout the rev range opposed to just the engine, as it was with the stock exhaust
One of the first mods i did was to put a set of Quicksilver exhausts on mine. Love them they sound so much better than oem. Dont think weight saving is going to make any difference in the real world.

Yeah they are pretty light. I think they were developed in conjunction with Spires. A few people in the UK have commented on this.
I fitted the X-pipe recently, it makes such a difference to the sound..
Updated Pics, as I went with some different tips for the Quicksilver Exhaust. The bolt on ones that came with the new Quicksilver Exhaust, were too plain, and didn't quite live up to the new character of the exhaust sound. The below are pics of a weld on tip, and I think they look much better than Stock or Quicksilver's standard offering:
